Hi y'all - I'm going back to Japan in 2023 for my 50th Birthday and if you are getting this link, I would love for you to join. Fingers crossed they open the borders in time, and if not, I'll make a different destination but hopes are high.
The timing for this is to avoid Golden Week, which is the most expensive time and the busiest. In addition, this would be a prime time to see the cherry blossoms.
Check out the itinerary below and if you can join, make sure you drop me a line!
April 14 to 18, 2023
Tons to do - museums and here is a link of different places.

There's a lot of food - and drink of course. Be ready to eat all day - starting at the fish market and ending up who knows where.
Many things to do including going to Landmark Tower, CosmoWorld, Hana Park and others.
April 19 to 21, 2023
2.5 hours from Tokyo and at the base of Mt. Fuji
This is off season and they require clamp ons, but it is not difficult, just a long hike.
Rest the next day in the spa and/or enjoy whiskey tasting. Japanese whiskey in this area is amazing!
April 22 to 24, 2023
Having done this tour in the past, it is literally one of my favorites. You'll enjoy small back alley bars, some bar bites and maybe a little karaoke
A quick train ride to Nara, which is a World Heritage site and kind of feels like you're stepping into a movie - they have a giant Buddha, deers that bow to you and you can watch guys make mochi
Easy to get back to Tokyo and head out or stay longer. Just remember Golden Week starts on the 29th, so any longer and it may get crowded or more expensive.
Add a footnote if this applies to your business
